Have You Had the Mirena IUD Surgically Removed? Join The Thousands Sueing For Mirena IUD Injury

Written by lisaspitzer on . Posted in Yaz Helpline News

1000’s of women are filing lawsuits for a Mirena IUD that has gravitated years after the original implantation. The IUD migrates and has been found embedded in the uterus, stomach or intestines. The IUD must be surgically removed by a doctor. This caused a perforation and severe injury. Many women are left infertile. some women must have a D&C to have the Mirena removed. Ultrasounds have found the device embedded in the bottom of the uterus while  other women have had the IUD expelled. Abdominal x-rays, or pelvic ultrasounds  are required to locate the IUD. The 1000’s of women with injury has lead Class Action lawyer Network to open a special litigation division for the Mirena IUD Lawsuits. More lawsuits are expected in the coming year as information becomes available to women. IN 2000, the  FDA  approved the Mirena   IUD.  The Mirena  is a  plastic T shaped IUD  that releases a low-dose of hormones. This IUD can remain implanted  as a contraceptive for up to five years. About two million women in the United States  have the device.  Recently  Bayer’s Skyla, a hormonal IUD similar to the Mirena was approved. Women  have filed Mirena lawsuits because  the  IUD  migrated from the uterus migrated to the Uterus or abdomen and became lodged needing to be surgically removed.  The result has been  abscesses, uterine perforations, infection, intestinal perforations, and emotional distress due to infertility.   Bayer recently moved  to have the New Jersey Supreme Court consolidate all lawsuits into a multidistrict litigation (MDL) based in Superior Court, Middlesex County, NJ. The Mirena IUD lawyers encourage you to contact them to discuss a potential Mirena IUD lawsuit. If you have the device removed it is a good idea to keep the removed device for proof.     .     I will report back after the surgery!         hug 0 Report this mshanson3121 Posted 08/31/2009   Well it’s all done and over with! And it really wans’t bad at all. It wasn’t embedded thank heavens, and they didn’t have to do any scraping, so they just put me under, dilated me, and did some poking around till they got it and it acme out easily, thank heavens! As far as how I felt afterwards, very tired for a couple days from the anesthesia. You’ll definitely want to take a couple days off work (thankfully mine was on a Friday). I had some cramping off and on, and some d/c, but no bleeding. They told me as long as they don’t scrape, you shouldn’t expect any bleeding. Now Saturday I did overdo it, so I had some pretty bad cramps and was really nauseaus, so I’d definitely recommend taking it easy. I have to call dr’s office today to find out how long we’re supposed to not have sex, and when we can start trying. So all in all, not bad at all, I was only under about 20 minutes!

There appears to be many drugs and devices harming women and many of these are from the same manufacturer. Bayer the Manufacturer or Yaz, Mirena IUD Both Yaz and the Mirena IUD are birth control devices with severe and harmful side effects. Yaz causes blood clots which result in Heart attacks, stroke, pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis. These medical problems can be fatal and result in death or severe long term disability. Yaz has had some settlements already for Yaz lawsuits. The Mirena IUD is just starting to hit the airwaves. lawyers are taking notice of the side effects and Mirena IUD lawsuits are being filed. New Mirena Silicone IUD Helpline Launched For Women

Yazbirthcontrolpillshelpline.com has launched a Mirena IUD Helpline. The helpline has expanded it’s outreach to women injured by all birth control devices. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRLog (Press Release) – Jul. 3, 2012 – The http://Yazbirthcontrolpillshelpline.com has lauched a Mirena IUD Helpline and a new Mirena IUD division for women experiencing complications from the Mirena IUD. “Women are the target for many dangerous drugs and medical devices” says, Lisa Spitzer MSW who supervises the new Mirena IUD division. “Birth control is a money maker and women are the targets”. “The women we speak to have had serious complications from the Mirena IUD. The device has gravitated out of position and severed the uterus.”. Birth control has become the focus for lawsuits. Yaz and Yasmin, are in the news right now with lawyer ads. Is the Mirena next ? These birth control medications and devices are causing injuries to women in NYC, Florida, Texas, California, and all over the U.S.A. The latest dangerous birth control device is the Mirena Silicone IUD. The Mirena IUD is manufactured by Bayer, which manufacturers Yaz, interestingly enough. It is a flexible intrauterine device that is placed into the uterus through the vagina by a GYN. Mirena releases a continuous dose of hormones (levonorgestrel) to prevent pregnancy for up to five years . Our women callers report the device has moved out of each original position and punctured the uterus or become firmly embedded in the uterus. Many state the doctors cannot find it . The Miriena has caused bleeding and other very serious complications. The new Mirena IUD Helpline is helping women with these complications. “Many women are telling us the doctors are refusing to remove the Mirena and many must have it surgically removed”. The http://yazbirthcontrolpillshelpline.com will continue to expand services to women as a resource for new news about dangerous birth control devices harming women. They are also working in conjunction with the well known http://vaginalmeshhelpline.com to get the message out there. The vaginal mesh is another dangerous device effecting over 300,000 women.

Bayer is the manufacturer of both the Mirena IUD and Yaz birth control pills. Yaz has had 1000's of lawsuits filed for blood clots, Pulmonary embolism and strokes. Bayer has settled the first round of lawsuits. Now we have the Mirena IUD.

Women Are Filing Mirena IUD Lawsuits For Uterine Perforation

We are receiving calls daily from  women  coming forward to  file Mirena IUD lawsuits for injury, primarily uterine perforation, for their Mirena IUD. Mirena IUD lawyers claim that Bayer failed to properly  investigate the  risks and side effects before releasing the Mirena IUD onto the market. Women are claiming the company failed to adequately warn them and doctors about these risks. Bayer over-promoted the benefits through its “Simple Style” program, which claimed Mirena increased intimacy and helped women look and feel great.

The first Mirena IUD lawsuit was filed on April 12, 2012, on behalf of an Ohio woman. Her complaint alleged that she required a hysteroscopy to remove the device. Considering over two million women have used Mirena in the U.S. We feel  many more  women  will be coming forward seeking justice for injuries.

  •     Device migration
  •     Embedment in the uterine wall
  •     Uterine perforations
  •     Intestinal perforations or obstruction

If you a wife, sister, friend, mother or anyone you know has been injured by the Mirena IUD have them call us for information regarding ther Mirena lawsuits.

Now we have two birth control devices under scrutiny and both manufactured by Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Bayer is the manufactuer of Yaz a birth control pill  with warnings for blood clots, pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis and strokes in young women. Bayer promoted the birth control pills as a way to easy freedom but, neglected to offer the problematic side effects. Now we have the Mirena IUD. The Mirena was also promoted for freedom but with it came uterine and organ perforation and other side effects

Lawyers are filing lawsuits against Bayer for these harmful side effects and in fact Bayer has offered the forst round od settlements for Yaz.

The New York Times recently reported on the heath concerns surrounding Yasmin and Yaz.

Side effects suffered by some women who take Yaz or Yasmin include:

  •     Deep vein thrombosis
  •     Gall bladder disease
  •     Pulmonary embolism
  •     Blood clots
  •     Heart attack
  •     Stroke

Yaz Stories Are Horrific, Mothers are Losing Young Daughters to Yaz Blood Clots

Written by lisaspitzer on . Posted in Yaz Helpline News

At the Yaz Birth Control Pills Helpline we speak to mothers who have lost their daughters to Yaz. This evening I spoke to a mother in Louisiana who lost her 21 year old daughter due to a Yaz Bloot clot and Heart attack. This is a young 21 year old woman with her entire life ahead of her. I do not think there is any lawsuit that can mend that kind of anguish and pain. Yaz is a Birth control pill that many young college girls were taking. Yaz has been the central focus of lawsuits against the manufacturer Bayer for causing Blood clots, Pulmonary Embolism, heart attacks and strokes.  Mothers across america are filing lawsuits for their daughters who have either suffered the effects of Yaz or who are no longer here to tell their Yaz story.

Yaz and Yasmin both contain drospirenone, a new type of progestin that is not found in any other birth control pills in the United States other than generic versions. This unique “fourth” generation progestin has been cited as the likely cause of many side effects of the birth control pills in Yaz blood clot lawsuit and Yasmin blood clot lawsuit complaints filed against Bayer by women throughout the United States.

In a study published in August 2009 in the British Medical Journal, researchers found that pills containing drospirenone, such as Yaz and Yasmin, may increase the risk of women developing blood clots to 6.3 times that of women not on birth control. By comparison, women who took birth control pills with the older progestin, levonorgestrel, had a much lower risk of blood clots on birth control.

Yaz Stories From Mothers who lost their Daughters to Yaz

A Tennesse College Student

"Leah told me that she was scared, and that she was tingling all over. I told her it was going to be okay, that me and daddy was coming," said Mayfield.

Leah's mom and dad did not make it in time. Leah died less than an hour later after the call.

"You go in the room and there's your child, your baby girl lying on the stretcher," said Mayfield as she wiped away tears.

Texas resident Carrie Caliman George filed a wrongful death lawsuit after her daughter allegedly experienced a Yaz pulmonary embolism. George’s daughter, Cheri Malvern, started taking Yaz in August 2005. In March 2009, she switched to Yaz generic Ocella. She continued using Ocella until 2010 when she suffered a pulmonary embolism. On December 15, 2011, Malvern died.

There are many more stories just like theis from across the U.S.

So Many Drugs and Devices Hurting Women, The Vaginal Mesh, Mirena IUD, Yaz, Yasmin, NuvaRing

Written by lisaspitzer on . Posted in Yaz Helpline News

Is the Vaginal Mesh the Dow Breast Implant of 2012, Women are suffering from Vaginal mesh Implants and Yaz and Yasmin, NuvaRing and the Mirena IUD. When will women stop being the target of manufacturers who put profits over people.

Written by lisaspitzer on March 26, 2012. Posted in Stories and Sharing

Lisa Spitzer MSW who runs the Transvaginal mesh helpline has heard many "horror stories" Equal to the Horror stories, if not worse, then silicone breast implants.

"It is important for woman to share their stories and find a support from others " The emotional and physical ramifications of these Transvaginal Mesh surgical implants, silicone breast implants, Mirena IUD, NuvaRing and other devices are severe" "These helplines assit women in locating a lawyer but, there is more to this then just legal advise and filing a  lawsuit" Monetary damages cannot reverse some  of the life changing  stories I am hearing" There are damaging physical and psychological effects from these surgical  implants that are far reaching. Many women cannot have sexual intercourse as a result of this mesh surgical procedure  which can effect the stability of a marriage. Others cannot drive a car any longer, visit and play with their grandchildren or take part in  the joys of life the mesh was promised to help with. The Silicone breast implants have caused severe auto immune system diseases and disfigurement""Yaz has caused embolisms and strokes in young women and the Mirena IUD has severe complications".

By COURTNEY HUTCHISON, ABC News Medical Unit The Vaginal Mesh Fiasco
Sept. 9, 2011

What was supposed to be a simple surgery to relieve bloating and constipation turned into a living nightmare for Linda Gross, 46, of Watertown, S.D.

Gross experienced pelvic organ prolapse, a condition in which the organs of the pelvis begin to shift because of a weakened pelvic wall. Her doctor implanted Gynecare Prolift, a relatively new type of surgical mesh, into her pelvic wall through incisions made in her vagina.

Ever since that implantation in 2006, Gross says she has had urinary complications, constant pain and swelling as her body continues to reject the mesh. She says she can't sit for more than 20 minutes, she can't have sex with her husband, she can't be active for more than a few minutes at a time. Twelve surgeries have failed to remove all the mesh or relieve her pain and swelling.

"It's horrible. There are unknown amounts of the mesh still in me. I have extreme pain. It feels like the inside of my vaginal wall is on fire," Gross told ABCNews.com. "I wouldn't wish this on anyone."

The following are problems linked to transvaginal mesh:

        Bleeding
        Infection
        Mesh erosion through the vagina
        Organ perforation
        Pain
        Pain during sexual intercourse
        Urinary problems

There have been horrors of disease and disfigurement associated with toxic breast implants.
Symptoms of Silicone toxicity from Silicone breast Implants

Typical symptoms associated with silicone illness (also called "silicone poisoning" or "silicosis") include cognitive dysfunction, short-term memory loss, Sjogren's syndrome (dryness in the glands, such as the mouth, kidneys, eyes, and lungs), scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, dermatom-yositis, severe joint and muscle pain, incapacitating fatigue, swollen lymph glands, skin problems, peripheral numbness, multiple allergies, headaches, hair loss, sunlight sensitivity, central nervous system disorders (similar to multiple sclerosis), and others.

Complications from the vaginal Mesh

With the vaginal mesh there have been reports of recurring prolapse, vaginal scarring, vaginal shrinkage, and emotional problems related to the vaginal mesh. These complications often result in a patient requiring additional treatment, including surgery and further hospitalization.

The mesh helped keep the organs in place, but indications are that the transvaginal mesh harmed more than it helped. Some women who had the vaginal mesh surgery using it have reported "painful sexual intercourse, infections, urinary problems, overall discomfort, and bleeding, usually from the mesh eroding through the stitched tissue or from skin contracting tightly around it." Last year, 75,000 women had the vaginal form of the corrective surgery, and in the past two years, adverse event reports to the FDA have quintupled.

The FDA has also received reports that three women died in connection with the vaginal mesh surgery, and several other women are suing the device makers. One of their transvaginal mesh lawyers, who represents 75 patients, told the Globe, "It is unfortunate that the FDA came to these conclusions after all these people get hurt.''

If you would like to share your Vaginal mesh or siliconee breast Implant  story we would like to hear from you. If you have complications from the prolapse mesh, surgical mesh implants or disease form silicone breast implants contact us.

Over 300,000 women have been implanted with vaginal mesh surgical devices and many of them are failing and woemn are suffering.

"This may be even larger in scope then the Breast Implant horror" says Lisa Spitzer Msw who mangages the Vaginal Mesh Helpline.

Many women are suffering and they are having trouble finding doctors to remove the mesh. Although there are no related diseases lke the silicone breast implants the vaginal mesh causes servere pain and many women have had their lives altered. "It effects the marital conjugal relationship and many marriages are breaking up" Says Spitzer. "The complications are severe and women are suffering"

“Consumers are justifiably upset when their cars, toasters, andbaby food bottles are recalled,” wrote Dr. Rita Redberg and Dr. Sanket Dhruva of the University of California, San Francisco, in an editorial accompanying the study. “Recalls make us all question the safety of the products we take for granted. But what aboutthe products permanently implanted inside our bodies?”. Unfortunately, products like vaginal mesh and faulty breast implants manufactured by the now-defunct French company Poly Implants Protheses SA, were cleared for use too quickly, resulting in disastrous consequences for women who were implanted with the devices. The French breast implants were not cleared for use in the U.S.

"Thousands of women have been left severely damaged by an implanted  vaginal mesh  to treat problems following childbirth, hysterectomy, or urinary incontinence."

"As a result  we are  now facing a crisis on a par or maybe even more far reaching ,  then claims for leaking silicone breast implants in the Nineties. "Says Spitzer.

"And Now we have a new one called the Mirena IUD. The Mirena is gravitating from its's original position and becoming embedded in the uterus and harming nearby organs.". Between Yaz, Yasmin, Fosamax, Vaginal mesh, Bladder sling and many others women are suffering nationwide and must seek justice"
